Small Groups Will Resume March 7 in Large Group Settings
Service Not Currently Meeting
Parents are primarily responsible for the discipleship and discipline of their children. The church should not usurp the authority of godly parents, nor assume the responsibilities of parents who are lax in their duties. The church should give itself to teaching the biblical principles of parenthood and to holding parents accountable to carry them out in the context of families. While we have an active program for children, it should be viewed as an extension of the parents’ roles, and it is never to replace them.
At Grace Life, we take very seriously the security and safety of your children. Our Children’s Area has been equipped with state-of-the-art security measures, and our leaders have been screened and trained by Ministry Safe. Therefore, you can be confident when you trust them to our care. We do not consider this a babysitting time but rather an opportunity to instill in your children the truths of God’s Word no matter their age.
Will Resume on March 7.
No Childcare is available at this time due to Covid.
Growing in Grace for Grades 1-5 is currently meeting, however, no other childcare is available due to Covid.
As we look forward to meeting again in the Children’s Area, please note the following precautions that are in place to provide the safest environment possible for your children.
Temperature checks will be done on all children and leaders of each class.
Check-In will be contactless for parents. A volunteer will be stationed at the computers.
Extra hand sanitizer has been placed in each room and will be used regularly.
Classrooms are being sanitized between use.
If your child or anyone else in the house has been sick within 48 hours, then everyone in the family should stay home.
While we are taking all precautions to limit the spread of any germs, please remember that the nature of COVID-19 is still largely unknown. GLC supports anyone still apprehensive about meeting and fully supports your decision as parents.
Gospel focused childcare is available for newborns through 5-year-olds during the Sunday morning service at 10:30. Beginning March 7, childcare will be available during Small Groups and the Sunday morning service. Presently, however, childcare is not available for any services. Access the secure Children’s Area at the east entrance.
Small Groups will resume March 7. It is a weekly time for children to meet in age specific groups on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and learn the truths of God’s Word in a more personal setting.
During the Sunday morning service there are two Gospel focused teaching times offered. Preschool Church is for ages 3 through 5. Children’s Church is for grades 1 through 3. Both are in the secure Children’s Area at the east entrance.
Wednesday nights at 6:00 is a time where we strive to build a biblical foundation for grades 1 through 5. Children are taught the attributes of God, theological words, church history, and an overview of all of the Bible.
Each summer we dive into God’s Word in an exciting way. Children will enjoy biblical lessons, Scripture memorization, music, crafts, games, and more!
A unique time to get away from the distractions of everyday life. Each day is filled with Bible lessons, games, and other activities like night hikes, swimming, ropes courses, and more for grades 3 through 5!
Children share the truths of God’s Word through song. There are two opportunities to be involved: Joyful Noise for preschool children ages 4-5 and Raising Praise for grades 1 through 5. Due to COVID-19, children's choirs are not meeting. We hope to resume them soon. Keep checking back!
The annual True Church Conference is a time when our children have their own missions conference. This gives them an opportunity to hear missions focused lessons, learn from missionaries from across the globe, and eat traditional foods from foreign lands.
